Re: Garmin Nuvi3790 SG/MY

There is a major BUG with the 37XX units which I have reported to Garmin USA. Map POIs are NOT displaying at the moment even when you are zoomed right in! On Garmin City Navigator maps, no POIs are displayed at ALL. On third party maps, like mine and MFM's, some POIs do show - such as traffic light ...

Re: Garmin Nuvi3790 SG/MY

BTW If you like to activate raw track logging (1 sec interval). Go the map screen Press Speed This will take you to a "Dashboard" like screen Press and hold on the big Speed button for 8 - 10 secs. I find pressing it with my thumb works best (probably due to size of area). This will take y...

Re: Looking for map - New Zealand

Can I rename this file to something like gmapsupp-NZ.img instead of using the default name? I believe that it won't work if you renamed the file. Maybe someone else with Garmin XT experience can advise. Or, can I have multiple files for various countries in the same folder? Sorry for asking so much...

Re: Is MFM too reliant on Antyong?

Re: MFM Strategy Gameplan (Draft)

Yes, zenbu works similarly. However the grey area is who "owns" the data once placed on Googlemaps? And what can you or a project such as Mfm do with the data once placed. I'm merely asking as I don't know the answer to this. With zenbu, we can extract it using a script that maps a Garmin ...
