Hi everyone, haven't been here since 17 Sep 2009 - almost 3 years! Nice to see the site still so active and the old folks still around. Wasn't sure my login would still work but it did. Quite strange to see posts dating back to 2008, old tracks and all - it seemed a millenium ago! Feel like a total ...

So I agree with keong8260 , I will contribute to both until I'm chased off by one or the other! :) Yep. And some of us have been with MSM long enough to remember the earlier times when there were two KL maps. I remember preferring to post updates in Jmleng's KL Street Map because he tends to update...

At the end of the day, water will find its own level .... I don't think there is any need to agonise over which site to go or not to go to. For me, what is important is that everyone should understand a few facts (also to summarise the position for folks who don't want to bother with the history): 1...

btw, if this is malfreemap .. does it mean it'll not have Singapore? I believe, Antyong mentioned he will include Singapore. Perhaps at that time we'll have a new domain that singfreemaps.com that shares/redirects to malfreemaps.com . Or maybe a more encompassing domain say aseanfreemaps.com . asea...

Hi Jimmy, Although the Dollar has taken quite a dip, its still far cheaper and sensible to buy it on home grounds like where you are... We have the same confronting us too in Europe i.e. Upfront, it looks expensive, the Euro and the high rates etc... but at the end of the day, with taxes & warr...

Thanks Howard, that is a massive screen but the lack of batteries is more than a bummer ... Seems that the prices in Aust are pretty close to Amazon + shipping, so no real point buying from the US - less than USD10 differential + I get Australia-wide maps. But the problem then becomes the Aust maps....
