i tried this on my Nuvi 1240. But in my Nuvi, the files in Text folder are using the extension .glx if i'm not mistaken. Without thinking i just changed the .gtt extension to .glx, and now my Nuvi wont turn on. What should I do. Anybody can help. Any idea on how to factory reset the Nuvi or somethin...

i want the icons to appear, so that the map look nice and colourful when navigating...but i guess for now, there's no workaround for this problem right? *sigh*

Hi. I have a Nuvi 1240 with the latest MFM map dated 05042010. My problem is, custom icons only appear when browsing the map. When navigating, the unit does not display any custom icons. Any workaround? Thanks in advance.
