dvpro, it is very nice of u to offer such help. by far u r the most helpful person in this forum. while loading up the "corrupted" gpx file, i noticed there is a empty attribute in the xml tag. i remove it and voila, it works! i loaded back to my 1460 using mapsource and favorites are back...

Hi dvpro, thx for the info. I have installed with MapSource v6.16.2 When I open the Current.gpx, mapsource gave me an error of "Current.gpx" is not a valid mapsource file and could not be opened. Not sure what happened to my previously saved Current.gpx I am able to open Current.gpx to not...

thanks for the quick reply. I have renamed the backup copy to Temp.gpx and copy it to GPX folder. Still the same, nothing appear in my Favorities.

Is it anything possibly I have done wrong?

I have just upgraded my 1460 from v2.60 to v2.70 Before upgrade I copied out the GPX folder. After firmware upgrade is done, I replaced back all whole folder & all files in GPX. No matter how I overwrite the folder n files, upon turn on the unit, my favorite will be still empty. Help is apprecia...

Garmin 1460 comes with MSM map ver 2010.20

I downloaded latest MFM ver 100830 and replaced the original gmapsupp.img

What will happen since now I have 2 sets of same map loaded? (1 MSM & 1 MFM).

Anybody with non jailbreak iPhone, do u come accross any speed trap alert? So far it's none for me.

I just purchased the app and installed in my iPhone 3G (non jailbreak). When I passed by speed trap areas, M6 doesn't alert me at all (as usually alerted by my Garmin XT). Does it mean that this release never include speed trap alert, though in iTunes it did state there are more than 220 fixed speed...
