Dont think Garmin can do anything as we hve bought the hardware - it up to us to use whatever software or program we like as long as not pirated one.
Off course the waranty wud be void. Same as computer or handphone - we can do anything!

hve put a velcro tape on the suction mount and the other side on the dashboard.
advantage - can just take off the mount/gps and put in another car with velcro.

Hi,

Bought a garmin 255w fm eastgear at the IT show at Expo Spore last week. Come with the usual mfm / malsin and sla maps.
however when i transferred the sd card [which i used on my 205w without problem], the mfm map doesnt show on the map info menu on the 255w !

anyone can advise?
