Re: What is SGMYMAL map?

Hi guys: I understand. Appreciate you sharing your insight. I'm now gonna begin checking out Singapore-Malaysia JCV + LA capable Nuvis as an addition to my clutch of LMT-edition US & EU Nuvis. Right now gravitating towards a 2XXX but cannot help being very tempted to get a 3XXX unit - even thoug...

Re: What is SGMYMAL map?

Just extract, then place the gmapsupp.img file in the /Garmin folder, preferably in the SDcard. FYI, there are also no JCV or LA features that are cur...

Re: Mapsource stops recognizing any Nuvi..

You can reinstall Mapsource to see if it work. You can also use Gpsbabel to convert the GPX file in your nuvi to gdb and open in mapsource for editing then convert back to GPX to be loaded into the GPS. Hope this helps. Hello moeyhc: Thank you very much for responding so quickly. It turns out that ...

Re: Garmin maps for Hokkaido,. Japan for use on Nuvi...??

@silverbeauty: Thanks for the lead - very informative. Impression I get fm UUD"s specs is that their different 'address search' basis (due to Japanese addressing conventions) and the obviously numerous non-routable streets/lanes in the maps will very likely mean relying and use of these GPS map...
