Re: nuvi 3560LM SG/MY
I have been using the unit for about 2 months now ever since I bought it. I also bought a camera to record the traffic using a 32 GB SD card. Recently, I was hit by the side by a lorry at a traffic junction. Thinking that I can retrieve the recording from the camera at the moment the accident happen...

Re: nuvi 3560LM SG/MY
The unit is now stable after the software update. I have not experienced any auto-shutdown so far. I am now enjoying the unit. Great screen display with 5in of colorful screen. I loved to zoom back and view the whole surrounding area while driving. Previously, my 3790 would just zoom down to an irri...

Re: nuvi 3560LM SG/MY
Thanks for the notification on the new software v2.30. The update notice indicated that the software is to prevent the device from shutting down automatically during navigation or simulation mode. So it is a known issue for Garmin. Am hoping that the device do not shut down again by itself. I have b...

Re: nuvi 3560LM SG/MY
The software for this nuvi seemed to be faulty. I bought a unit and it has been shutting off by itself ever since I started using it. I normally like to turn off the autozoom. When using the unit, I like to zoom back in order to see a larger area of the area I am driving. The unit will frequently sh...

Re: Is it possible to load a Sngapore map into Garmin Nuvi 1
Not sure what do you mean by loading a Singapore map? The nuvi is meant to accept any Garmin map including Singapore and Malaysia maps. You can also load the MFM map which basically covers Singapore and Malaysia. So not sure what do you mean by loading a Singapore map. IS it because your set is not ...

Re: Garmin 2565 VS Papago Z1
I do not know the full benefit of Papago but I can't stand some of the idiosyncracies of the Papago. I have a Papago that comes with a Mazda 2. I gave up using it and will op for a portable Garmin. The reasons : 1) Graphics are unattractive. Overcolorful in some places. Sometimes I can't tell the di...

Re: Special deal for Garmin PND
Won't buy another Nuvi until Garmin is willing to put in the feature to disable the auto-zoom. Can't believe they are not willing to put in such a simple feature. You see the map zooming like crazy to a scale you do not want every time you reach a junction. No thanks, Garmin. Furthermore, I can't ev...

Re: Papago - M3gps Consultant
Hi,
While using a Papago GPS in a car, is it possible to view the map without setting any routing? When I try to view the map, I always see the annoying icon to set the destination. How do I get rid of the icon and see the whole screen?
