Garfield's teddy bear named Pooky might sound ...

Re: MFM Joker Corner 2

I'm sending a copy of this to my wife :peace: Dear Wife, 1. From 11 June to 11 July 2010, you should read the sports section of the newspaper so that you are aware of what is going on regarding the World Cup, and that way you will be able to join in the conversations. If you fail to do this, then yo...

Re: MFM Joker Corner 2

Here's a scary joke... Antyong posted this on April Fool's day on his blog: Before I left for Spain, we agreed to an April Fool joke for MFM. I will make all admins (including myself), mappers and moderators as normal members. I will announce that MFM’s seniors had resigned and left en bloc . Recent...

Re: Google to bring free turn-by-turn navigation to the iPho

I thought you can plan and Google can 'catch' the route... so just plan ahead before leaving home.... The route calculation is done server-side and my guess is it can only plan and cache 1 route at a time. Once you've arrived to your destination you'll need another connection to the server for anot...

Re: Google to bring free turn-by-turn navigation to the iPho

Of course the drawback is still that Google Maps' map data is 100% online. So if you don't have unlimited data plan or you're roaming overseas, then :$gone: :$gone: :$gone: Another scenario is it can get you to a secluded fishing spot you find on google satellite ... but once you're there with no p...

Re: Cellphone satnav use surging in Europe

PND without traffic info here in Malaysia has limited appeal. Smartphone users have more fun with social networking and geolocation services like foursquare, twitter, trapster, waze, etc. I say MFM should also take a look at publishing its content (map and POI) online - making them accessible to sma...

Re: Which is your preferred route from north to south

mapsource got more routing options to tweak

Now it routes me via Persiaran Kewajipan before going to Kesas/Sg Besi. Probably the 90kph speed limit at Shah Alam preventing ELITE from becoming the faster route
