Papago R6600 x7 Taiwan

Postby benere » Tue Aug 24, 2010 2:01 pm

Hi all, I am planning to buy Papago R6600 x7 from Taiwan. The question is, does this GPS supports MFM malaysia/SG? any features is blocked? for eg. junction view is not enabled for Garmin Taiwan.

We are not too sure about. Alternative, you can bring along the file to there and test it out. If doesn't work, don't buy.. if it works buy many many sell it to us... :finga:

Good Luck!

Is confirm the device is not able to use MFM maps due to the mapID file is not able to read by the device.

This is the vendor measurement to protect the local distributor.

Yes MFM-Papago map is free for all! but some unit from Taiwan is being locked example our friend myin brought T-600 from Taiwan but mfm-papago map can't work with the unit.

So it is best that you bring the MFM-Papago map files to the shop in Taiwan and test it out.
