It looks like your GPSMAP 2008 is India localized unit, since it's using India firmware. Thus, the only firmware usable for the update is India firmware. And I'm afraid there is no way you can update the unit using any normal firmware update meant for other localized units.

i think the new firmware for 1460 is good, so far so good, search is faster now...

bluetooth the volume not try yet...........

I have just upgraded my 1460 from v2.60 to v2.70

Before upgrade I copied out the GPX folder. After firmware upgrade is done, I replaced back all whole folder & all files in GPX. No matter how I overwrite the folder n files, upon turn on the unit, my favorite will be still empty.

Help is appreciated!

Rename the backed up CURRENT.GPX to TEMP.GPX and place it in \GPX folder.
