POIs from Mapsource not showing on Vista HcX

Postby stanleyn » Thu Jul 21, 2011 2:19 pm

Hi guys,

Wonder if anyone else has run into this before... I have CN Australia NT maps loaded on my Mapsource, and it was originally unlocked to my (one and only) GPS device, a Vista HcX. Now that I want to transfer the maps into my Vista, after selecting the relevant map tiles from Mapsource and sending to device, it works and builds the gmapsupp.img file properly, and i can view the map on my GPS with the street names etc.

However, almost all of the POIs seem to be missing from my GPS. Comparing side by side with Mapsource at the same location, only 1 or 2 out of a bunch of maybe 10-15 POIs only show up on my GPS, while Mapsource shows all.

Did i miss out something when transferring the maps over? Or is there a setting on my GPS to show all the POIs?

TIA..

Stanley.

Maybe the Declutter mode is turned on. Press the Enter button on the left and see if you can turn the Declutter mode off.
