Brother....

Our CGPSmapper complied map MFM 120702 does not support JCV. It is our flagship map with update every week. But,.. all is not lost... if you want MfM Map with JCV please visit Garmin Map Update to download the latest MfM-Garmin NT 2012.10 map with JCV. Just a note to let you know the the MfM NT2012.10 was taken off the site for reason Garmin did not review. We have member who wrote to Garmin and got to know a newer version is on the way. So, check back regularly at Garmin's WEB site for the new MfM JCV map.

Oh no, that JCV file I mentioned is only for the MfM 2010.20. JCV simply does not work for our weekly up-to-date map, unfortunately.


dengan kata lain, map 2 julai tu tidak menyokong JCV....


tapi kalau baca ur posting, ayat "sebelum ni ok" adakah bermaksud sebelum ni pernah update map mfm cgpsmapper-compiled?? sebelum ni bolh tgk JCV?? or baru kali pertama update nih??

salam bro..

saya dah update mfm 2012.20. jcv dah ok.tapi confuse sikit bila tekan maklumat peta. ada 2 saja

1. mfm 2012.20

2. malsingmap/singapre/brunei nt 2012.10

mfmpoi tak de. bila tengok kt folder garmin fail gmapsup tak de. tak de masalah ke peta ni...jus nak tahu.. :tq:

Di laman WEB Garmin SG ada tiga jenis peta...

Garmin original - Garmin City Navigator Singapore/ Malaysia NT 2012.20
- Data Peta ini di sediakan oleh Garmin

Malsingmaps - Malsingmaps Malaysia/Singapore/Brunei NT2012.10
- Data Peta ini dari Malsingmaps.

Malfreemaps - Malfreemaps 2012.20
- Data Peta ini dari Malfreemaps

Ketiga peta di atas ada JCV untuk set GPS (local) yang jual oleh Aeco Technologies (agent Garmin).

Peta MfM cGPSmappers boleh juga di guna tapi ianya tiada JCV...

very clear and well explain bro...thanks.. however that came to another persoalan...

kenapa mfm2012.20 tak sama kandungan petanya dgn map cgpsmapper mfm.. for instant kat jb area..2012.20 mmg nampak ketinggalan 6-10 bulan (based on peta jalan new ram sebelah HSA)..TEtapi map 120702 nampak mcm dah latest..jln new ram tu da ada)...kenapa x sama data ehh?? just curious to know...

MfM 2012.20 uses our April map data. Garmin may have filtered some of the information and also added their own. You'll notice the JCV is much more than our Papago, Galctio & iGo maps even thou' the file size is smaller this time.

If Members start to feed back those missing data it will catch Garmin's attention eventually... that's why we have a thread for feedback on the MfM 2012.20 maps... Use it !!!

hey bro...sorry if u (or other mappers) found my posting a bit harsh,, i got kick out of MSM due to my comments... i hope ppl in MFM are cooler then them...

currently i'm trying to contribute to the feedback pages but couldnt get the map load in mapsource...once i solved it, u will see it...

however, if u said garmin compiled the map from the april data, i dont think i will see the issue... i think garmin copied the old data,,,its almost the same as msm map but msm is far worst...

the ram in question is a very big ram and coastal road ..some are newly build and some are enlargement of the existing road. U wont missed it..i pass this road everyday ...the flyover/ram was opened few months ago but the construction completed in March ... GArmin NT map showed the ram as incomplete...msm showed the ram as in progress as last year...
but mfm maps 120702 included this new ram.... that;s why i found it very hard to believe that this BIG new higway is not listed in mfm2012.20... i think april data should show the ram as completed...

i will try putting the info on the feedback page...

hope ppl wont mad at me.... msm ppl accused me of complaining but not contributing..hehehe...

i hope to be part of mfm small contributors and i hope i can solve prob with mapsource...
