Did you try a different USB cable ?
Is the USB cable connected direct from Nuvi to Lappy/PC or via USB Hub ? If so remove hub and connect direct.

If you want the custom POIs appear in navigation mode, use the MYSG v2.10 (2.11 PouchX), and with the latest MFM map (1.66 and better).

Before you reflash it to other sw version, did your computer detected it as a mass storage previously? If you are using vista, sometimes you need to enable or install a driver before you can use the USB mass storage. Then try to use other OS, such as Mac OSX or XP or GNU/Linux. Sometime, XP/Vista is quite stupid when assigning drive letter to mass storage, especially you have several network drives.

After you successfully flashing your nuvi, don't forget to use 'Webupdater' to update your current nuvi, if any.

TQ

Nuvis can support 2 supplementary maps (GMAPSUPP.IMG), one in device, and another one in data card.

Just read this thread in gpspassion
http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/topi ... _ID=129016

I think most of the 7x5TWN sotware with v2.70 and v2.80 will noticed that the 'Time of arrival' is quite 'off' almost by double. But, based on the 765TWN sw Changelog,

http://www.garmin.com.tw/products/Nuvi7 ... wnload.htm

Google translate: To improve the navigation of "estimated time of arrival" shows the accuracy of
* 更新GPS SW版本至2.90版。

It seem that the ETA improvement is not that accurate. I think the estimation is good if you live in country with heavy traffics, but here in our country,... So what you all think about it?

Thank you.

Bros, do you have Pycckuu__Katerina.vpm (006-D1312-00) TTS voice? I use 2.81 TWN on my 765T, but it doesn't work well with non-TTS voices :(
Also I've wrote alittle JS to download files from Garmin WebUpdate site, but (despite of lines in GarminDevice.xlm) WebUpdater doesn't know Part Number 006-D1312-00...
