Hi , i just download latest Sing/Mal firmware v2.70 for Nuvi205 but original map had gone and everytime on the device will prompt Can't unlock the maps.

SgMy Software Ver.2.7.0
Audlo Version 2.00
GPS SW Version 3.10B

Beside updating of software, did you update the City Navigator map as well?

Update to City Navigator map can be found here.

But the online version is already outdated. So no point updating.

Check your nuvi to see if you have "gmapprom.unl". If the file is missing, you can rename "gmapprom.img" to "mapprom.img" to remove the "Can't Unlock Map" prompt.

After I saved a certain location as my FAVOURITE, how do you call out the GPS coordinates? Example, after I saved the location of KLCC Twin Tower, how do I establish the GPS coordinates for KLCC Twin Tower?
I could not locate the GPS coordinates in my Garmin Nuvi 205.

can just lock your arrow to the location you want,than select coordinates to see

Thanks but I tried on my unit but no coordinates appear? I think this model 205 does not have this function?

bro jerman,

Remember, when you press the "Where Am I?" button [Tools >> Where Am I?], you get a page where your coordinates are displayed? This is the same thing we are trying to achieve. You need to move your vehicle icon to your preferred POI, with the Simulator being ON.

1. Tools >> Setting >> System >> GPS Simulator = ON
2. Press and hold 'Back' until you get to the Main Screen.
3. Go Where? >> Favorites >> (Locate your POI) >> Map >> Set Loc >> Go!
4. When asked whether or not you want to simulate, press 'No'.
5. Press the vehicle icon to read your location. Walaa!
