does MSM have junction view? Yes MSM have junction view, you need to go into MSM forum website.

MFM also have junction view but in Papago.

Remember, when you press the "Where Am I?" button [Tools >> Where Am I?], you get a page where your coordinates are displayed? This is the same thing we are trying to achieve. You need to move your vehicle icon to your preferred POI, with the Simulator being ON.

1. Tools >> Setting >> System >> GPS Simulator = ON
2. Press and hold 'Back' until you get to the Main Screen.
3. Go Where? >> Favorites >> (Locate your POI) >> Map >> Set Loc >> Go!
4. When asked whether or not you want to simulate, press 'No'.
5. Press the vehicle icon to read your location. Walaa!

today my nuvi 205 cant load.. or start normally.. when i switch on my nuvi, its only start until the loading maps screen only.. then my nuvi 205 shut down automatically...

any one here facing the same problem?? when i connect to my pc using USB, the same thing happen... so my pc cant load the nuvi drive.. help me please..

Bro samfisher, his Nuvi cannot even boot up when plug into PC.

Bro 9w2pgn, you may have a corrupted map file. You have to gain access to delete the map file. Which is why it is best to install map in SD card. That way if corrupted, you simply remove the SD card.

Try a hard-reset.
Hold finger on bottom right hand side of screen while turning the unit on.Keep finger down until pop up screen appears and touch yes to clear all data and all orginal settings will be restored.

Or try the below :
1. Power off the unit.

2. HOLD down the power button and you will see "Pre Boot Mode" appear on the lower part of the display. KEEP HOLDING the power button down and the display will flicker, do this until the pre boot mode message disappears.

3. Once the pre boot mode message disappears release the power button.

looks like your nuvi faced the same problem as me. maybe not.

My nuvi restart automatically while showing loading maps.
But, it not show loading map, but something like 'C'
then, it continues restart and never end until the battery finished or i press the reset button to shutdown it.

i sent to garmin dealer nearby, they said it might be sent to taiwan with total cost about Rm 300++.
this is software problem, so why will sent it to taiwan? this is garmin faulty.

hold start button 30++ sec, also failed.
let it off, then connect to usb also failed.
when on, hold right corner at below also failed.


so, can it covered by warranty?

If your Nuvi can be detected by the PC than you can delete or rename all maps inside. Hopefully this will solve your problem. Remove the SD card too. Have you tried the hard reset?... cheers!

computer will detect garmin if after loading maps show.
computer do not detect my nuvi because it restart on loading maps.
put map on sd card also same.

Would I be able to load other maps like India map on a localized Nuvi 205 which has malaysia and singapore maps? When I bought malaysia and singapore maps were preloaded.
