Chee Loong,

I got mine from a forum member here (Rafizi) who quoted the lowest for the unit which has yet to be sold in Malaysia early Nov '08... spent slightly over RM2K for the unit (whereas others quoted me for over RM3K!). Perhaps he may even be able to quote you a better price now. I was thinking to order online initially but for the lowest price quoted online that time (Tiger GPS USD530) plus USD90 for the shipping cost and other hassles... I figured out may ended paying almost the same hence decided to go ahead placing order through him.

Having explained that, I would suggest you to consider 755T as it is very much the same unit but only without the bluetooth (which is only important if you wish to sync with your mobile phone and dial directly from the POI you have selected etc) coz 755T is very much cheaper. The unit is currently offered at Tiger GPS http://www.tigergps.com/ at USD449.99 but FYI, once I received a promo email from them offering a truly value for your money at USD299.99 (which regretfully only valid from Nov 27th - Dec 1 though and I have already bought 765T!). Perhaps you may search around for another special promo online now that the economy is really bad up there...

Whichever 7x5 series you gonna decide later, I think you will appreciate it coz for me, I'm very happy indeed to have upgraded my 760 to 765T... wish you luck for the best possible bargain!

Have you select the custom POI when you create the gmapsupp.img ?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Nope, sold my 5 weeks old 760 at half price  to a friend of mine who does not mind of the slower refresh rate...

I have tried it all but to no avail... perhaps it conflicts with the new features of 7X5 (such as 3D building map etc)?

Actually, I already sent email about this problem to garmin's tech support. Wait and see.
