Not fair to compare both, especially when one is using illegitimate softwares. :-'

Need clarification here . How about the Nokia N Series install with Garmin software ? Are they using legal Garmin software ? I'm thingking of buying Nokia hp and installed with the Garmin , but after considering the price for the hp and how small the display is I turn to this GPS unit. BTW now there many GPS model sold on the net and more to come. Visited Low Yat Plaza last week, also sold many brand of GPS. Now GPS is like hp on its earlytime...I think someday all car will be install with it.

The original GMXT come in Garmin own SD/uSD card. You just insert the card into your phone and you are ready to use it with the phone internal GPS receiver.

Your friend's one, well all I can say is it is an illegal copy of the software.
