I do not know why it does not find other sri in Malaysia as my Nuvi does report a whole string of matches .... and Sri Kalahasti came in as #8 candidate .....

There might be something wrong with the maps loaded in your Nuvi. Can you delete it and reload again via a fresh download from our download section.

How to use get the mfm map ?
Like bro silverbeauty suggest, download again the Map from download section.
then goto MFM-Garmin Installation Step by Step Guide to learn how to install the map.
Please take your time to read thru the thread at our MFM library section.

actually i follow exactly the steps provided to install. nvm i will try to download and install again.

how to delete the map inside the nuvi or download again n overlap?

Plug Nuvi into USB port of your lappy / PC. Make sure your Lappy / PC recognizes your Nuvi.
Use Windows explorer to access Nuvi directory where your map resides ie... Main Memory /garmin or SD card / garmin
Delete the file gmapsupp.img

i reinstall everything ady but still the same. i found out 2 files gmapbmap.img and gmaptz.img. i think something wrong wif them tats y coz this prob. anyway to solve?

gmapbmap.img is your world basemap while gmaptz.img is time zone map. You will need to get fresh copy and replace the corrupted copy.

Your Nuvi will still work without them. but you loose the basic map for regions without regional map and loose function to set time of the world.

From your backup if you did it .... if not then from another 205W la.......

Webupdater only involves firmware. It does not effect preloaded maps.
