unfortunately, no...can record 1 sec tracklogs which are saved in debug folder but cannot playback on device...but tracks can still be converted with nutrack and viewed on mapsource.

bro cynide,

Sorry to hear that you had lost your 200. Currently, I'm using 205W and R5800 and both have their merits.

If you want stability, go for the 205W. The ability to have CPOIs is an added bonus. It has also been around for a long time (worldwide), so there are lots of help available for the 205. If you're into clear road maps (much better than that on the 205W) with 3D buildings and JV, then the R5800 might be your preference. The routing is (sometimes) different from the nuvi. Since the R800 is relatively 'new', there are still some bugs in the firmware.

That's my 2 sen.
mfm : magnificent free maps
Garmin nüvi 2575RLM v2.80, Garmin 60CSx v4.00, Garmin nüvi 205W(patched), Papago R5800 X8.5, Qstarz Q1000P (Datalogger)
Retired: GMXT Palm T|X, nuvifone A10 v5.0.77, Garmin-Asus G60 v2.43, GPSlim236 (Datalogger)
