Please help, thanks in advance :)

Try changing USB cable.

Do not plug through external USB port extender, Plug direct into PC/Lappy port.

Use different USB port

What version Windows you using ? 98 upwards should be plug and play.

Hi silverbeauty,

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
I tried 3 different USB cables, I plugged in directly to my PC.
I tried various USB ports.
I'm using 64bit Windows 7 RC1, I wonder if it's because of the incompatibility with Windows 7?

I had the same problem b4, but when i changed my usb cable to the one which similar to the gps charger where there is a round bulky thing on the cable, it works...so bro why don't u try to use this kind of cable.... :-k

I do not have Win7 in my lappy so cannot comment.
Suggest you try in a PC with Vista / XP and see if it works.

Is there anyway to update the maps from the SD card?
Tried putting the latest map in a sd card but my 205W doesnt seem to detect it.

Hi;

Saya nak minta pendapat anda semua, boleh tak saya delete fail suara "voice" dalam nuvi 205w saya, saya hanya menyimpan suara yang diperlukan sahaja.

Terima kasih.
