I'm successfully using the v10.1 EN version with JCV, however the JCV shows Thai signs instead of English !! Any clue ?
May be someone could post the right one or advise...

P.S.: I'm using US Nuvi 765T (flashed).

In language option of Nuvi tool /system menu, did you change it to US / British English :-?

I got feedback from some people that the JCV is only available in Thai language!! really weird, knowing that the map is available in both languages (Eng / Thai) and the JCV is a big advantage for non-Thai users.

It could be theirs is similar to what we have in Mal/Sin. the unt firmware was customized for that region to only display JCV on units purchased in specific region

what about non-Thai people who live there and bought localized version !! I still think JCV should match map language, that's the logic.

Thanks for your input

Take your GPS under the clear blue sky to get satellite lock, that should get you to whereever your location is.

For address search, go to MainMenu-WhereTo-Address-ChangeCountry-Keyin Malaysia and touch Malaysia.

To reset locale, you might need to do a "Clear User Data".
