](*,) i just bought Nuvi3790 sg/my set ... updated to v2.3 with MSM NT 2010.20 and CN 2010.30 map... but i like to install MFM into it... but unfortunately i failed :cry:

i created Map folder at root directory, then copy MFM 101108 into it (filename gmapsupp.img)... but after i cant c MFM in MyMap... only have the MSM and CN map... need help here!!! :frus:

[problem solved] :peace: after i reflash the v2.3 firmware :-' :tq:

Hi thongkh,I have the same problems here la...looks like we are outdated....
I cant find the folder which consists of MSM,I cant find POIs.....
I think we need to sell oredi :)

:thumbsup: i solved the problem by reflashing the v2.3 firmware :thumbsup: , now managed to install the mfm :peace: ;) i even manage put in msm v5.02, :p just to make sure its not the map problem... now at mymaps, i able to see MFM with all the pois and
but now, i have others problem... i wonder is it a bugs or my unit got problem... when i use voice command, and my unit will auto restart after awhile :frus: ... anyone have the same problem?

Hi Derekwg

Maps of 3790T are stored in Main Memory /system directory. This directory by default is set to be hidden by Windows OS. So you have to unhide it

What do you mean you cannot find POI? Did you select the map via MainMenu - Tools - System - Map - MapInfo ? Make sure the box next to map is tic. When viewing map on screen, Magnify the map via the + icon on map ....

Hi Silverbeauty & ThongKh,I have successfully installed MFM.It was the firmware causing problems.It wasnt V2.3 but in Garmin website-my dashboard said my firmware is up todate.So I downloaded webupdater and do manual update,it worked!Ang ThongKH,my voice commander ok!
I have unticked the Polygon, Tomoro will start using it,hopefully not tht bad or else got to switch back garmin map.

after i remove the polygon my nuvi manage see the road at kl, johor and singapore.

i think the CPOI (from MFM) are still not visible while in use right?

Bro rohiza23, I re-flash firmware 2.3 and reload MFM with polygons removed.

Works now, can use MFM ...all roads show .... yeeha.. :thumbsup: \:D/

Yeah, I didn't re-flash the firmware and successfully installed the map without the polygons. All roads could now be seen. :thumbsup: :mrgreen:
