=D> Cool icons and glad to know you have addressed that ROM issue... Will you be sharing those with us here? =P~ (checked at GpsPasSion but its not there...yet)

To add what Bahathir highlighted above, still waiting for somebody who could come out with some "magic" and make MFM custom icons be visible for 7x5 series...

To make custom POI icons to be displayed correctly in 7x5 could be a tough. There are few custom icons which can be displayed, such as the RapidKL icon, but others just are shy, playing hide and seek, until you tap at it at the correct place:).

But, as my observervation, 7x5 can display custom icons from POIs in GPI files. So I think it still possibilities here.

Here in this forum, we use the malfreemaps (MFM), which is FREE and regularly updated, once a week to be precise. The map is complibed with 3rd party compiler cgpsmapper, so the map will not have any lane assist, JCV, and speed limit.
Ylou get the map here.

If you plan to visit Malaysia or Singapore,we hope you can use our map :).
Beside Garmin map, we also produce maps for Papago and Magellan GPS too.

There are also other free but limited map from malsingmaps (MSM) and from Garmin too.
Garmin Malsingmaps 2009.5 and
Garmin Mal/Sing NT v4.03
Get it here

You may find the encrypted JCVs in the map package..

Thank you.
