Links to the beta version firmware supporting custom raster maps on the Oregon series have been posted on GPSFix.net and Garmin's website!

Nice paper maps on Oregon (kmz format) :peace:
Download and place Alcatraz NRA.KMZ to /Garmin/CustomMaps/
Then view this sample Alcatraz island at N37 49.559 W122 25.360 :thumbsup:

Has anyone managed to get this raster map support working? I've been trying since last evening but to no avail. :-k

I do everything in Google Earth from the satellite imagery image capture, geo-referencing and upload to the device. But the damned image just don't wanna show up. :frus:

Ideas anyone?

The non-beta version firmware for the Oregon series of GPS units for custom map support and etc is ready; v.3.30.

Available only through Webupdater so far... \:D/

just update 2 v3.3 seem that hang still around when we press poi to save and rename :thumbsdown:
