The Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx is fully supported by EasyGPS.
EasyGPS is the fast and easy way to transfer waypoints, routes, and tracks between your computer and your Garmin, Magellan, or Lowrance GPS. EasyGPS lists all of your waypoints on the left side of the screen, and shows a plot of your GPS data on the right. Use EasyGPS to back up and organize your GPS data, print maps, or load new waypoints onto your GPS for your next hike or geocaching adventure.

EasyGPS works with every popular handheld GPS receiver, and it is 100% FREE!

Anyone else tried using this EasyGPS to manage their GPS maps, POIs and tracks downloads? If so, is it "better" than Mapsource cos I find Mapsource very cumbersome. Thanks!

Prices, as always for milspec gear, is crazy at US$40 a pop plus US$35 for S&H to Singapore.

Anyone ever had the experience of hooking up the 60 CSx to the PC to download data from your tracking activities and suddenly finding that all the data are wiped out when you turn on the 60 CSx. Even the unit has been reset to factory setting. I have lost all my waypoints twice this way. Not sure why.

The other thing is when you have tracks on the SD card in the 60 CSx, do not remove the card and put it in the Nuvi. All your tracks will be wiped off.

Thanks for your useful info..but i never doing that (Sd on 60csx moving to nuvi)..but suddently losing data on 60csx is new for me..still never happen..i'm prefer to lock 1 Sd card in 60csx & 1 Sd card in Nuvi..never ever to put it out..all data transfer via data cable..to ensure all data correctly write on..try using High Quality Sd Card..
