Hi guys, Happy New Year!
just got my oregon 300. \:D/
did any of you guys register your garmin product with garmin online. is it safe? (i mean after register can still use MFM maps?)
so far used it for 1 week. very satisfied with this gadget. :thumbsup:
still maitain software version 2.3.

Jorak,

It's best that you register online to ensure that you have coverage of warranty for your purchase. Avoiding it too long in hopes of prolonging the warranty may only result in your warranty being cancel or deemed invalid. It's safe to register online. No worries. The latest software is version 2.80. Yours is pretty outdated. Use the webupdater to get the latest firmware.

no problem at all, it work in some building too, but not deep building. :mrgreen:

Thank for the info, Still blur with one to get Oregon or Gpsmap 60csx :ko:

All i want is the tracking function with high accuracy.

if u want high accuracy, u may do some adjustment in the track setup, "record interval", if I not misstaken~ :D

Hi bro tlchuan,

During clear sky with no cloud can get up 3M accuracy. Normally 3-4M.
Inside building 6-9M. Nice topo view.
