Tks - my 2465 SG/MY is working again with "Exclude Polygons".
Use MFM own map generator rather than MapSource.
The roads are not disappearing anymore.

Have not tested the Simulation problem reported by RedStorm.

Question about Singapore Postal Code:

Can you use City NT to locate by postal code, it will then appear in "Recently Found";
then disable City NT and switch to MFM for the navigation?
Thinking of this as a workaround if MFM doesn't have the postal code, but I prefer its navi.

Just bought tis device today, i compare with my nuvi 1350, notice tat the screen is a bit yellowish and not as bright enough as nuvi 1350, another thing is the battery life is bit short(eventhough i hv turn off the bluetooth), other than tat all is fine .

Still doesn't work for me, despite excluding the polygons (i.e. at certain zoom levels, map disappears).

however, the sales person say i cnt put the mfm map in refering to some of users feedback to him that the map will make the device hang/restart/power off and so on...

anyone able to load and use mfm in this device well??

i hate msm and once again msm bring me to holland when i go to cheras...
one way road show and navi me as 2 way road...

the main problem on Nuvi 4 digit (1xxxx, 2xxxx, 3xxxx) series is... not 100% compatible with old nuvi (3figit) format map.
the 4 digit nuvi firmware needs new NT format, whereas mfm's map compiled with 3'rd party cgpsmap compiler.

its not stable but can still be used

I currently using mfm map(install on micro sd card) on my nuvi 2465, so far so good, been travel to few placeses working perfectly.

Been using MFM on my 3900. Initially got a lot of problems loading MFM but worked out the problems through Garmin firmware update and workaround with MFM map. Now quite stable. Got me everywhere I want to go and took me back home via MFM.
