I did a hard reset and it improved the sattelite lock and lag problem.

big problem with nuvi 205w

i tried to update my software juz now via garmin web site n after th installation finished my nuvi was stuck.
nothing happen :cry:
it stucked in the black screen...what should i do now??

The 'icon' automatically appears as you near a roundabout... :)

Strange... tot the sign is alway there indicating the next turn and distance when i am on the move.
after the map upgrade the icon just disappear.

The button is for a "soft" reset. You do not need to use it to do a "hard" reset.

Please read your manual page 13 on how to do a hard reset. Involves button and pressing at a corner of screen.

yes. i did.

but i got question. for example i press the "near..." then "a different city" for example i key in sri damansara. why only show sri kalahasti,IND 2687km NW. how come bring me 2 india?

After hard reset have you got satellite lock ? Otherwise it will default to USA and India is nearer than Malaysia ... :-'
