2) Before connecting the nuvi to PC, drag the rgn file to the updater.exe.
3) Put your nuvi in diagnostic mode, and plug it to PC.
4) and If updater can see your nuvi, then....... proceed with the flashing..
5) Pray... :)
6) If it shows 'System software missing' after the flashing, slide the power switch to off for 10 secs, or until it reboots. Dont forget to master reset :)
7) Pray again..
Good luck.

Yes done !
but Could u teach me how to do master reset ?
I can't find any key or any button from my nuvi to do master reset.
Do I need to input the secret code to do the master reset,
same as my nokia phone master reset with secret code.

appreciate for it.

1) Switch off the nuvi
2) Tap and hold at the bottom right
3) Switch on the nuvi
4) Do no remove your finger until the "Do you want you want to erase all user data" prompt out.

Yes, you can use webupdater with any 7x5 version :). I think, webupdater will check Garmin\ExtData and Garmin\RemoteSW contents, via GarminDevice.xml, and based on that, it will suggest any new updates.

If it not shown in webupdater, then you already got up to date files/firmware/
