Then back up india map into PC and delete it from your nuvi lah which you not use presently.
and how many map inside your nuvi ?
Does it have Malaysia/Singapore map ?

This means your other maps are Void of the "sri" name string and it only found it in your loaded India map .... 2000 Km away ...

Like Bro John Tan ask, what version Malaysia map you got loaded and DOES this map show up in MAINMENU - TOOLS - SETTINGS - MAPS - MAPINFO In fact list down what maps show up ( do a print screen )

Take out the Indian map as suggested and retry.

malsing map sure got. but how to indicate india map inside de nuvi? coz all r some sort like system file?

I suggest you do the following first:
(I dont remember the Nuvi 205 menu but I suspect it is similar to my 255 which I will recount below)

1. Switch on your device
2. Select Tools
3. Select Settings
4. Select Map
5. Select Map Info

Please post what you see. If possible paste your screen capture.

To do a screen capture follow the following steps:

1. Switch on your device
2. Select Tools
3. Select Settings
4. Select Display
5. Enable Screen Shot

A camera icon will display on the top RH corner of the screen, press this icon when you want a print screen. The file will be stored as ***.bmp in the directory Garmin/scrn/.. in your device. Copy the files into your PC and post the correct ones here.

THE MAP INFO


1>1st, I select the "Near..."


2>then press "a different city"


3>When i type "Sri" n spacebar


4>the result shows an india place "Sri Kalahasti"


5>After i press "spell" n key in "Sri Damansara" manually then press "done"


6>the result shows null


this is the prob i face, not only sri damansara alot of places also cant find or show the places from other countries which are few thousand km.

I do not know why it does not find other sri in Malaysia as my Nuvi does report a whole string of matches .... and Sri Kalahasti came in as #8 candidate .....

There might be something wrong with the maps loaded in your Nuvi. Can you delete it and reload again via a fresh download from our download section.

how to delete the map inside the nuvi or download again n overlap?

How to use get the mfm map ?
Like bro silverbeauty suggest, download again the Map from download section.
then goto MFM-Garmin Installation Step by Step Guide to learn how to install the map.
Please take your time to read thru the thread at our MFM library section.
