I couldnt search using postal code. only when i check malsing - the postal code option is avaliable.

Bro snipfer, with Singapore SLA Code using MFM Maps, there is a sequence you need to adhere to

MainMenu - WhereTo - Address - Change Country - Enter Singapore - Select Singapore SLA Address/PostCode - SearchAll - Enter Blank - Enter Postal Code - Nuvi Reports Postal Code

The warning message is complying with US regulations occupational safety authority. It is embedded in the firmware routine. You cannot bypass this message.

Displaying the WARNING message is in the firmware. You can not bypass a WARNING message from being displayed, but the text in the message can be changed. The text in the message is in the firmware, but ONLY if you are using American English text. You can use the below download link to change the text if you are using American English text by modifying the GUPDATE.GCD and flash it to your nuvi. For all other text languages, the text displayed is not in the firmware, and can be changed/edited by using Notepad to change the WARNING text displayed in the .gtt file.

This is the legal warning text displayed at power-up. It disappears after 15 seconds or after you pushed the AGREE button. This text will only appear if your language is set to American English (default if you are using US firmware). For all other languages, edit instead the file "your language".gtt in the Garmin/Text directory and search for <tag>TXT_Warning_body_STR_M</tag>

Here is what I changed mine to:
The serial number of this Garmin nüvi 255W has been registered at Garmin.com to the rightful owner. If you are not the registered owner, you are in the POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY!!! Please arrange for the return of this GPS receiver by contacting the owner at: WknThDg@WknThDg.com (that is not my real email I posted here)

If you are using American English, use this and select the "Legal Warning Editor" tab:

Hi, I want to switch my Nuvi 765T US version to MYSG firmware.
Is there any file or folder MUST BE delete first from garmin folder before run updater.exe? (I've upgraded Nuvi 255W US version to MYSG before, and I must delete text and voice folder first, otherwise it will brick Nuvi.)

After switching, do the 3D Building, JCV and LA maps of CN North America still works?
Thanks. Agus.

Do not waste your money as the frequency used is not compatible with Sin LTA frequency.

Bro maxx1111, this is a forum based in Asia. It would help if you had indicated your location for an appropriate respond.

Anyway we cannot help as the Nuvi 465 is not available in our region. It is a Nuvi loaded with "truck mapping data" and custom proximity alerts designed specifically for truckers like your self.
