Etrex 20 or 30, no less. The 20 can be got for under S$290.

okay!!

i got myself a etrex30... nice stuff..

i have to ask a few question. have not been on the board for a very long time..

i know i can put in the singapore map into it from Free Malaysia & Singapore GPS Map. these have some custom poi inside.

then i can get other poi from MFM Custom POI Feedback?

How about the MFM Tracklogs & POIs Dropbox? how to access that?

Also, i intend to do mount kk.. so i guess i need some topo maps... i guess this is the places to go?
Free East Malaysia Topo Map: MFM-SRTMEM 090918 and
Free West Malaysia Topo GPS Map: MFM-SRTMWM 090918
are these updated?

thanks in advance... :)

Topo maps are not for navigational use

If you want address, use standard map.

Most of the custom POI are meant for car navigational units ie.. Nuvi. Handheld is not designed for car navigation as it only beeps for you to turn and screen is too small.

This is for mapper to access only. He will harvest the contributions here and compile into map

What you see is what you get. Not updated as regularly as regular road maps for the mass :-'

thanks in advance... :)
