Bank / ATM POI unable to display...


For my Zumo 660, still cant display some custome POI such as BANK and market.

is that the map problem or the device? any one have ideas?

I believe it is the firmware that limits the POI from being displayed as the displaying of POIs will "clutter" the tiny screen of the Zumo ...

Hi, my Zumo 660 is unable to display custom icons from MFM like the ones for petrol stations at R&R Gelang Patah.
They do show up on MapSource but not so on the Zumo 660.

Any solution for this? Or is it really a limitation set by the firmware with no way around it. Spent the last 48 hours looking for one but to no avail, prompting me to finally ASK for help.. :ko:

Hi Bro Snape,
Me too Got a Zumo 660. Well,I have a Solution here:- Write to Garmin n Hamtam them lol cos U got and expensive set and got so many missing features.Wonder , who the wise biker that design the software? Am sure Garmin could do better and give some some other soft ware features in their software update.

(Garmin): Managing data question

Hi,
I just installed the "Malaysian Garmin Custom POI" package, and when I boot up the device (Garmin Zumo 550), I get a message that says:

"New data found. Would you like to manage this data now?"

I click yes, it shows me only one choice, "Extras", and the button "Done".

I click on "Extras" and I get a list of 3 selections to choose from:
Custom POIs (/MFS-Road Junctions...
Custom POIs (/MFS-Sharp Bends...
Custom POIs (/MFS-Redlight Camera...

I click on "Select All" and then I click on "Import"

It then brings me back to the screen with the "Extras" and "Done" and I click "Done".

The device continues to boot up.

Problem is, next time I turn off and turn on the device again, I get the same message.

Why does this happen, and how do I fix this problem? Thanks.
