Wander, how to insert thailand map into SDCard and map detectable by Garmin.

Tested on:-
Test 1: copy gmapprom.img into Garmin\maps - failed
Test 2: copy gmapprom.img root\maps - failed
Test 3: copy gmapprom.img root\gmapprom.img - failed
Test 4: rename gmapprom.img to gmapsupp - failed

How to make it working......Help!!!!!!

Just rename the Thailand map to Thailand.img and put it in the sd card in the directory "x:\map". That is, if it is a legally obtained map.

Brilliant.

It's works perfectly. Next is to test the navigation when i travel to Thailand Again.

I would presume if i have Philipine map, i should do the same such as rename the file to Philipine.img and place under x\map folder.

Many Thank. You save my days.

You can put as many map in the /map directory proportional to the capacity of the SD card. Each map can be label to the name of your choice.

"x" is just a example. The directory alphabet depends on what your computer assigns the address to the SD card
