My 255w just dead... Planning to find a replacement for it.
Is that true that there are many issues in 52LM such as auto reboot, hanging, lagging during recalculation, space issues?

how about 42LM?

As for the time required for satellite lock, we found that this tended to vary at different times but usually takes less than a minute. Route recalculation was usually very quickly executed, but we did face several instances where the device abruptly shut down or restarted itself while halfway navigating a route.

It is very fond of resetting itself/rebooting as it pleases and hang after about 1/2 hour of usage. It is very frustrating to use. I have upgraded to the latest firmware but the problems mentioned still persist. In short, don't buy this GPS until Garmin post a newer upgrade.

Totally agree with you. The newest version software also got the same problem. When the time routing to a place will always lag and i already sent the device to warranty 2 times. Still got the same problem.
