I'm trying to install MFM CPOI on my 1460. Its installed in G:\Garmin\POI. But i still not not see it in my "extras" , " custom POI". How do you guys install it?

I assume your G:\ drive is your SD card or internal memory of the Nuvi?

The custom POIs can be installed either in the GPS or the SD card but the locations are different.

In the GPS internal memory, the \POI folder is in the root directory, i.e. the same level as the \Garmin folder but not a sub-folder of \Garmin.

However, in the SD card, it must be a sub-folder of \Garmin so the \POI folder is actually \Garmin\POI\
Lean not on your own understanding

Custom POI should reside in MainMermory \POI directory or SD Card \Garmin\POI

You can check it is installed by MainMenu - WhereTo - Extras - Custom POIs

A list of Custom POIs should appear in that directory.

My G: is the internal memory in the nuvi as i have not gotten a SD card yet. Anyway. I've tried to install in G:\POI as well. I don't see it anything in the extras, custom POI view.

Has anyone tried paring their 1460 with their phone. I tried it when my 1460 was on low batt and did not hear anything when the other person picked up. Wonder was it because of low batt. Anyone faced such problem?

Plug in the usb cable from your device into pc.
Two folder came out.. 1- Garmin folder is your main memory.. 2 - is for your Mcard folder.

Try right click on your drive and select explore instead of double-clicking.
