No idea if you could get Malay voice for navigational purposes on Nuvi .. but to my surprise .. when I had Tomtom before, it has Erra Fazira voice on them.. wonder why Tomtom has Malay voice but no Malaysian map :)

i want to share with all of u my Bahasa Malaysia text...i created it for nuvi 200w and for personal use only. but based on feedback i got before it's also work on other nuvi..try laa :peace:

back to malay voice, i found so far malay voice for TTS...i try already but not compatible with my nuvi 200w

Brother your files extension is gtt, "Bahasa Malaysia.gtt" how to work, garmin need *.vpm to work [-X

bro tichuan...it's for text only not for malay voice...it's gtt format file to copy in text folder...read carefully my post yesterday :mrgreen:

All,

I can view "custom POI", no clear bro 9W2CBL what you try to bring up here. Can you capture some screen shot? Mine might have same issue as yours.

This is an old problem now. The all new MFM v1.22 can display POIs in the Nuvi...cheers!

Only update voice but not software version

All,

I am using nuvi200. Anyone know how to retrieve latest voice using webupdate with skip letting software update?
I want to get latest voice from webupdate but everytime it prompt me update software to software version 5.00 before download voice. This is because I want to keep my current version v3.4 but not to latest version.
