I am using nuvi200. Anyone know how to retrieve latest voice using webupdate with skip letting software update?
I want to get latest voice from webupdate but everytime it prompt me update software to software version 5.00 before download voice. This is because I want to keep my current version v3.4 but not to latest version.

I believe there is no other ways to do it, as I have not found any website that can able to download it.

Options 1: update to v5.00 then downgrade to v3.40 this won't damage your voice update.
Options 2: get someone has updated it to v5.00, copy their whole voice folder into your voice folder.
Options 3: just live with it as it is. just like me! that don't care what version that Garmin release.

Ya.. I think have to stick to last option since I need tracking option. Else someone might good enough share their voice folder to me.

I downloaded and tried it out. Unfortunately, there were more than 1 error as reported. It said something like "Dalam 3 ratus ratus meter, ambil 'ramp' ke kanan". Announcing 'arrival at destination' was like 'tiba kepada tempat yang di tuju' when ke was the correct word. BTW, it confused me a bit when this voice was also listed as American English, since another American English (the real one) was also listed.

It needs a bit of polishing before it can be more helpful. Nevertheless, it was a good effort by your friend.

i see the nuvi 205 ver got malay voice, dont know it compatible or not

I plan to put 2 map (img) in my nuvi200. Please advice how I should go about this?
Should I put 2 map (img) in 2 different location with same name?
Or Should I put 2 map (img) with different name but same location?

If I need to put more then 3 map (img)?

Need advice.

1st file with gmapsup2.img in main memory, another file gmapsupp.img in SD and I boot up my nuvi. It prompt me with no route found, you cannot used this device.

But base on the file, nuvi200 should support gmapsup2.img in main memory and gmapsupp.img in SD at 1 time.

Hi all,

I'm new to MFM but was using MSM on Nuvi 200. The file formats doesn't work for me. I'm trying to put both MFM 1.22 and MSM 2.15 on my Nuvi 200, and no matter what names I use (oem, supp2, sup2, prom1) I just cannot seem to get both of them in.

I either get:

1. Only listing of one map in the settings -> map info
2. Or I get two listings, but when I enable one of them and disable another, one will have roads/tracks, but the other will be blank.

Gave up, so now I'm using MFM only!

I am able resolve above with 2 map in my nuvi unit. gmapprom.img in main memory and gmapsupp.img in SD.
Now i can select which map I want to use.
