I could only see Junction View if I select City navigator map.

Strange :-?

It is not strange, it is the way it is. Junction View needs Garmin City Navigator to work.

Thanks.

Can I select proximity alert only to specific POI in the custom POI, rather than alert for all POIs?

I afraid, you can't. Altenatively, you can rename the GPI file. (ie: name.gpix)

Hi,

By renaming the file name, what it does? Sorry, I'm pretty new to the Garmin.

You will receive no alert at all for that particular category (ie: speed trap alert). Meaning to say, Garmin will not reconize the file as custom POI file.

I got a localised nuvi 200w set with the preloaded maps .I used mapsource to send the nfm maps to the as card and the transfer was successful. But when I insert the card into the gps unit it cannot detects the maps on the card. Am I doing some thing wrong here

Did you transfer it to your SD card Garmin folder..if no create a folder in your SD card "Garmin" then copy and paste the gmapsupp.img inside.

Cheers!
