if you really want to test your nuvi 255w whether it can show junction view.
I suggest you to Set Lock at Singapore map, becasue I found many junction view here.
Just give you a Starting point and Destination Point coordinate as attachment gdb file.
From this routing , nuvi will show u 3 Junction view as below picture shown.
If your nuvi never show u the junction view, Please check your setting. :mrgreen:

Hi all

Just bought my Nuvi 255W at PC Fair at PISA in Penang this afternoon at RM950... maybe tomorrow last day of the PC Fair, the price may drop further???

I'm happy with it for now as I'm new to GPS.

What are extension .img we can squeeze into this unit???

Maps can only be named as "gmappsup.img" in the Garmin folder for the Nuvi to read it

btw just downloaded this for taiwan set

installed and werking fine so far..
do it at your own risk though

Apparently, when I select MSM map. I can't see any Junction View.

I could only see Junction View if I select City navigator map.

Strange :-?

It is not strange, it is the way it is. Junction View needs Garmin City Navigator to work.

It is not strange, it is the way it is. Junction View needs Garmin City Navigator to work.


What are the coverage of this City navigator?
Is it KL and Singapore only or covered other big towns such as Ipoh, Penag, JB and many many more.

Just select City Nav alone?? no MSM?
