Hi,
I can't use turkish.vpm with Version 2.81 from PouchX.
Is there any solution?

I tried set the voice to "Turkesh" but it popped up "Incompatible Audio Version". Tried the webupdater just a moment ago, but no updates for the turkish vpm. But, I am not guarantee anything :).

Please, someone here with 765TWN can send the Turkey vpm for us to try.

TQ. :)

I just replied the PM :).

Conclusion: Unfortunately, even with the Turkce__.vpm from TWM hw, it still did not work. IMHO, there are minor differences between US and TWN hw or ROM which prevent certain operations to functuon correctly.

Thank you.

I revisited the English_British non-TTS vpm, problem, where the words in US hw + TWN sw is not correctly pronounced, We cannot use the voice files from TWN hw, because, the files are the SAME.

Just now, I went to Diagnostic page, and goto Audio Test Page.I selected Englins_British vpm, and select few words/phrases. Some phrases were correctly pronounced, but, it starts 'mis'aligned after phrase TWO 1 and abov
Example,
:
Phrases --- Voice
Point --> Point
Zero --> Zero
One --> One
One 1 --> One **Correct
Two --> Two
Two 1 --> Three ** Now it start drifting.
Three ---> Four
Four --> Five
Five --> Six
Five 1 --> Seven
:
:
Afterward, all are basically the (Phrases = Pronounced word - 2)

In other words, there are problems in , the phrase --> voice mapping. The worst thing is, if the the phrases address is larger than the file voice file table, then, something wierd will happens, such as, reboots. This occured after I continued selecting phrases and and played it at certain point. So this is might be one of the root cause of the nuvi rebooting during navigation, IMHO.

Aaarrgh... even I already knew what is the problem with non TTS files, but what Garmin can do to to solve it? I DON'T think Garmin will patch the problem, since we are using the incorrect SW for the US nuvi HW. I think the best 7x5 HW right now, is the TWN or MYSG version. :)

Thank you.

Hi Bros'

mine is 765 MY unit, mine one has latest MSM 2009.5 with 3D building n junction view, after i turn on either the MFM normal or lite version, the map will gone crazy (i.e, the map gone wild/crazy, showing directions incorrectly). those MFM & MSM maps are installed inside the navigator itself.
fyi, the MFM i had renamed to GMAPOEM

Do you guys know how to solve this problem? :-?

Thanks a million... 8-)

Hi james00, since CN Sing/Mal NT is named as GMAPPROM.IMG, and MSM NT is named as GMAPPROM1.IMG, have you tried using GMAPSUPP.IMG as the name for MFM map. I would not advise using GMAPOEM.IMG, because normally mapset using this name is unable to be disabled at Map Info.
