No custom POI display

Just got myself a new Garmin 1450. Installed the latest map MFM-Garmin 100913 but there are no custom POI display? Please help.

Brother did you select custom icon like in the picture when u install mfm maps ?

Yeah I did but still no custom POI display. Except when I click into it then POI would display else at driving mode no POIs are displayed.

normally maybank icon will display have u try it ?

Not a single icon is displayed. Except when I click into it the POI would display else in driving mode no POIs are being displayed.

Known problem, seems like firmware controlled. My old 600 series had no problems displaying all the POIs but my Taiwan born 765 displays the exact symptom you are experiencing now

Not sure about Garmin 1450 setting but in GMXT the setting is..
"Settings/Map/Map Features/POI", and
"Settings/Proximity Points/Custom POI Sets"

At least the G60 displays some POIs. I did a quick comparison between the G60 and 205W quite some time ago, here: viewtopic.php?t=4946

Guys and gals, is there any solution for this? I really need to have POI shown in navigation mode.
