Yes, the road names still can be searched via POI search.

I guess this is going to be similar when I disabling POI in the Map setting

Setting-> Map->Map Feature->POI

Change it to off. but unfortunately road search & some POI icon is missing. If I remember correctly this black block is not there before. Really can't remember what do I change which cause this black block to show up.

Hi Bro GHz, the setting of Setting -> Map -> Map Feature ->POI is applied to all map tiles which you have installed in your device, whereas the Tools -> Manage My Data -> Map Sets -> MapSource setting only apply to those map tiles in the list. FYI, the MFM Road POI is saved in the maptile, 60001100.img and listed in Tools -> Manage My Data -> Map Sets -> MapSource as one of the MFM POI vXXXX.

Please try it out, it works in my MXT Symbian.

I was using CapSure_QVGA.ARM.CAB on my Samsung Omnia. Google it. it was free.
For Symbian user try google for screenshoot or screencapture for www.my-symbian.com
