Got one sexy girl's voice, she always say "Oooo.... keep going..."

When ure about to reach ur destination, she will say "Yes! that's it.. right there~ mmMmMMMmMmm~" =P~

When there's right turn, she would say "Turn right, dear, yesss just turn right on"
When we're driving above the speed limit "I love you dear, please slowww down mmmm"

GMXT, GMPC also can.
...

If the voice is not detected in Settings, rename to original name "English_British_.vpm".

Bro, :tq: for the explanation. Made me recall I did read that there are indeed many TTS VPM files to download for dedicated Garmin GPRs.

Wonder if someone share their TTS VPM files so that I can try to see if it will work in GMPC?

i've always wanted to try Yoda's voice.. coz i've been imagining ppl getting mad over it, in a bad way..

Examples:
1. "Hmm turn to the right now.................... you must not."
2. When u missed a turn, it'll go.. "The force is not strong with this one.."
3. When there's a police ambush/roadblock ahead.. "I sense grave danger up ahead.."

Hi Futra,

The celebrity voice prompts don't quite work that way. [-X

Hilarious as it may sound to you, the developers ensure that turn prompts are correctly announced, e.g. "In 300 meters, turn right", although in Yoda's nefarious accent. When you drive with a GPSr, you rely on voice prompts for guidance more than the GPSr's map for obvious road safety reasons.

Only in non-critical situations, like satellite reception being lost, unit power loss, battery low, recalculating, going the wrong way or upon reaching your destination that you are rewarded with the humorous announcements.

POI alerts like "police roadblock" are never part of the VPM files - they are basically MP3 or WAV files embedded in the custom GPI files. If you know how to tinker with Custom GPI files, it's possible to swap the standard "police road block" prompt with one of Yoda's voice clips you can download from the various movie audio clip sites.
