well, i'm in the darkside now haha... experiencing the most out of my e71 now :)
so far so good i'm getting use to this new gadget.. thanks bros for kind assistance.

i'm goin navigate myself to the darkside hehe :D

bro fisol2, i have also just installed garmin xt 5.00.20 in my E71. Would like to know how long it takes for ur unit to lock onto satellite? I tried last night and this morning but i just can't seem to lock on to any satellites. Garmin kept on showing 'no map' only.

I m starting to wonder if my GPS chip got problem. But i read from other forum that 1st time locking to satellite needs around 5 mins. I m not sure if i've waited that long. Maybe around 3mins and i gave up already. I will try again later, just needed ur feedback on ur lock-on times.

i thing so because his house has Astro to receive all the signal from satellite :mrgreen:

did u try enable A-GPS on ur hp. its make abit fast to gets a gps signal

first time fix takes sometime.. esp if u have AGPS disabled.

the very firsttime i use gps, back before the days where n95 had the agps.. it took me 20minutes to get the firstsatelite lock..
