b) I will follow the MSM guide to install the latest map that have JV? Which file should I download and I am still not clear either it is ok to save in the memory card in the Garmin folder? Any detail instruction on downloading the MSM JCV map into my Nuvi 205W? What should I download from MSM? JCV file and how about which map should I use? Can I use MFM and the JCV file into JCV folder?

Do you mean convert from Nuvi205W to Nuvi255W Sing/Mal firmware? If I remember correctly with 2 conversions that I did last time, the TTS feature was not available even after the update, that is if I remember correctly. :-k

Oh, you mean using the China RGN? Well you can check if the french voice is supported by opening RGN in a Hex Editor. After opening RGN, search for the string (unicode), ie. "francais" (if looking for a french voice file). If the string is found, then the voice is supported in that firmware, but also take note of the type of voice (non-TTS vs TTS, TTS will have a character name within it's filename) and part number so that you use the correct voice files for that firmware. Another method to check whether the voice file is supported, is by using RGNVoiceEditor, that is if the RGN is readable in that utility.

if I flash my US set to MY/SG set, is there any chances of better GPS signal reception??
at the moment, the accuracy never goes below 10m...

after converting to MY/SG firmware, I find that the english voice is very unnatural compared to the US one...
there's no way to fix it, is there?

So how do you find the accuracy now that you have flashed? Any difference at all? :-k As for the voice files, you are right, the voice files used in this firmware are different from the US firmware although bearing similar filenames (voice part no. are different).
