Yes i may have install the Garmin Mobile XT on the device memory because the instruction is to install on device( from a blogger's page with his Samsung Omnia).
For the rest of the MFM's img.file i installed it on my SD with 8GB memory space.
Only the basemap is install on the device(With 179MB+now shrink to 40MB. Can i move the basemap.img(10MB) to the Garmin folder on my SD?Will it work?
Re: hv any latest version garmin XT for windows mobile?
Hi guys..
Pardon my ignorance. Actually which files do i delete & which one to keep?
This is on my SD card where i installed MFM & MFM-SRTM. The Basemap is on the other side (my device).
Should i put the basemap in this folder too? I have 4mapsets (maybe duplicated or merged).
TQ

Re: hv any latest version garmin XT for windows mobile?
I believe you've just copied all the files for mapsource view to your garmin folder
actually, only ONE file is needed for one map. and that is gmapsupp.img
other .img files can be deleted (except gmapbmap.img)

Re: Garmin Mobile XT Q&A
Bro JayCee
Thanks for your advise.
It's not what I'm looking for.
Actually, I have a Holux GPSlim Bluetooth Receiver.
I removed the Battery and supply power through my Car's Cigeratte Lighter Socket. When my car key is turned to ON, power will be supplied and power up my GPSr (of course the GPSr switch has to be ON). I keep it almost permanently in the car now.
So, if I want to use GPS :
- Start my Car (which means GPSr gets powered up too)
- Power up my PDA (with GMXT installed)
- Switch on PDA's Bluetooth with a single tap(I already installed a quick Utility which will turn on BT by tapping the BT icon on TODAY screen. Previously, I need to go to Connection, BT, then Turn ON BT)
- The following is what I'm looking for :
- PDA's Bluetooth scans for Paired device (in this case, my GPSr)
- Once Bluetooth connects with Paired device (my already powered up GPSr), it will automatically run GMXT.
In summary, I want to run GMXT on my PDA with GPS connected when I switch on BT.
