Bro jschow,

As of present I am using GMXT with TyTN II... As I understand it, you can have up to 5 maps...

You only can put four maps in the SD card, if the device have more memory you can put one.
multiple map in GMXT in SD card:
1) Gmapbmap.img Basemap
2) gmapprom.img
3) gmapsupp.img
4) gmapsup2.img

Device storage:
5) gmapsupp.img (small size map file)

I have a problem with my GMXT on my N95, few days ago, I do tracks recording from Johor to Selangor (almost 3 hours+ recording time), after recording, I straight away exit Garmin. Until yesterday when I want to export my tracks to my computer, my GMXT restore factory default (just like when you first install GMXT), all my waypoints, settings and tracks gone  . My recording just gone and I have no way to recover back. Not sure what I done wrong or that is the bug in GMXT.

GMXT version 5.00.00s60.9.TW
Recording Mode: Stop When Full
Recording Interval: Most Often
Show Active Track on Map: Enabled

Hope can get some help with this.

Bro alexander3133, without knowing the details and the condition and stuff inside your N95, a auto-hard reset can be executed by your N95 due to by excessive environmental conditions and by power state problems. Most common is a power surge either from the main battery cell or from the AC adapter

My apology if i quoted wrongly.

If you are using the "cheong" GMXT, then unlikely we know what goes wrong.

However, if you are using the origin GMXT with 10x or the GMXT SD version..even if you do a
restore factory default, it will restore the factory setting, nothings to do with the tracklog you have collected.

How you export the tracklog to your computer, maybe you like you show the steps that you taken.

The key point here is try do not overlap any map tile coverage areas. You can refer to Bro moeyhc’c postings Here for more details.

hi bro 76gpsguy,

i'm not trying to combine both maps...i still have 2 separate maps, MSM as gmapsupp.img and MFM as gmapsup1.img..so inthe GMXT map set i can choose which map to use, the base map, MFM or MSM, but somehow i can view MSM but not MFM? thanks!
