Your Symbian version may have a slightly different menu than my WM version. But if it says "Enter Coordinate", it must be the same thing. However, I think you may have entered a different Lat/Long format. Set the correct format like this (based on your given Lat/Long):

What's the coordinate that you have anyway?

You're welcome. Actually the coordinates format may be expressed in a few formats and the values are still the same. You can also convert between formats mathematically, just remember 60 seconds=1 minute, 60 minutes=1 degree. So for example if you have N2 59 24.7 (Degree Minute Second/hddd mm ss.s), the calculation is as follows:

N2 59 24.7 (Degree Minute Second/hddd mm ss.s)
= N2 59 + (24.7/60)
= N2 59 + 0.41167 = N2 59.41167 (Degree Minute Decimal/hddd mm.mmm)
= N2 + (59.41167/60)
= N2 + 0.99019 = N2.99019 (Degree Decimal/hddd.ddddd)

Garmin XT version 5.00.20wp

Postby drthein71 » Thu Jan 22, 2009 1:00 pm

not too sure if this is related to the maps ( version 1.34 & 1.35 ) of if this is a software problem in GMXT (version 5.00.20wp) on Dopod D810

When I press "where to"--> "Near other" --> Spell city the GMXT programe will shut down by itself and a message "ERROR: Assert failed at utl_cnv_time.C:575 in Garmin Mobile XT with error 0" appears on the main screen

Suprisingly this happened with the version 1.34 and 1.35 but when I tried the MSM 2.30 it's ok :-?
Any ideas?
