which version of garmin mobile XT ???



i using Dopod 818pro with Garmin mobile XT 5.00.20 also feel lag


now using version 4.20.50w

N79 with GMXT .10 and 1.33 ....... <----- super lagging
6220c GMXT .10 and 1.22 ...... <----- superb !

For temporary measure u can try delete all custom POIs eg road cam or speed trap etc. This issue been wrote to garmin & i get reply they'll fix in next version of MXT S60, i guees as well as other version.

this happened on my N82 as well .. this happened when i enabled auto track .. i have reinstalled garmin 5.00.20 .. will keep the auto tack enabled and see if the data will be missing.

GARMIN XT - Routing

Checking with you guys, why each route which has been pin point, the system avoid using all highway (using tol road)??

I find it funny as i sis not set to avoid it.... any ideas?? how to set it?

I set shortest... or fastest... it still route me out from highways.......

try to check your 'avoidance setup' in the routing setting. it might set at avoid toll road.

a little bit confius when i created routes in offline mode from kota bharu to gombak when it's not drive through gua musang but it's through terengganu(about 623km compare 420km through g.msg)...i've set shorter and faster(inverted also) but....??..i've no idea...
